Dear COPD community, With the permission of the administrators, I would like to let you know about my doctoral research study currently taking place at the University of Toronto. If you are caring for a parent or have children helping to care for you, more information about the study can be found below. The goal of the study: To learn about the peer support relationship between adult children caregivers who interact online or in person. Who can participate: Individuals who are: 1) 18 years or older; 2) Helping their mom/dad with any of their usual activities or medications and 3) In contact with other caregivers online or in person. Your role: To answer an online survey that should take 30-45 minutes to complete. You will be able to start and resume the survey at any time and therefore do not need to finish it all at once. At the end of the survey, you will be invited to participate in an optional 45-60 minute telephone interview. The interview aims to gain more in-depth information about your experiences as a caregiver and the relationship between you and your peers. The interview is optional and you may choose to only complete the survey. To learn more about the study and to access the survey please visit: fluidsurveys.com/s/caregivingstudy/
