This Wednesday past I was speaking with a woman at my local Lung Association about my status and she had mentioned this product to me.
Daxas: (roflumilast) is an oral once daily anti-inflammatory treatment for COPD. Website>>> www.daxas.com/
Any information would be helpful!

I have never heard of it. I have severe Emphysema but I don't have any exacerbation's. So I don't think that medicine would be for me unless I read the website wrong.
It looked promising for those who have exacerbation's.

Daxas seems to be one of those medications that either works great for you or does nothing. I have been on it for about 1 1/2 years. I still have exacerbations but they are not as severe as they used to be. From 2010 to 2013 I was hospitalized 3-4 times a year and had to be intubated 3 times, but I have not been in the hospital since April of last year. There can be a lot of side effects with it, so make sure you discuss them with your Dr. It also takes several months before you will notice any difference. It's very expensive if you don't have a drug plan but the manufacturer has a program to assist those that can't afford it.
Hope that helps.
