Well I read the whole thing. One thing that stuck out is that Statins may prevent exacerbations by a significant amount. I have been on Crestor for quite a while and have not a flare up in a long time.

I had a chronic infection for a while that seemed to clear up on its own. It is more likely that my meds were changed and the infection then cleared up, but it was too long ago to be sure.

Very interesting I take statins for slightly elevated cholesterol and haven't had a cold sense going on the statins .
