bands of pain in the mid-back and around the bottom of the rib cage
That's me sometimes. And those sharp quick pains I could never figure out.
May be something to think about. Thanks for posting this.

Yes very interesting Doris. Sometimes if I move the wrong way it almost feels like my rib is out of place. Going for physical soon so will ask Dr.
good night all...Sleep well

Thank you Skate, I have constant low level pain around my lower ribs and mid back on the right side, even had my gallbladder out (there was a cyst in it), this explains the soreness. Ended up thinking it was my posture or something like that.

Thanks again for the info, Skate. Now I know why I sometimes have pain in my mid back. With your help I am understanding the affects of this disease on the entire body.

Thanks very much for this, Skate. My rib muscles have been getting quite the work out with this latest flare. Interesting to see how it affects the rest of the body, too (the diaphragm, I mean).

Thanks for passing this information on to us Skate. I get terrible pains around my lower rib area and back pain too. Stretching helps sometimes (other times it just hurts too much). Having this actual knowledge I will definitely be doing regular stretching in the future.
