I get it occasionally, especially if I don't watch the diet.
I stick with baking soda and water to deal with it. I find once I get it quieted down it is good for a week of so.

Protonix in am, before supper, and Zantac at bedtime. Mine is silent regurg - once or twice a year get an esophageal spasm and that is painful and scary Was on the usual meds until I developed a chronic dry cough that was driving my coworkers nuts. Switched to Protonix and no more cough.

I'm on Losec, a prescription medication, have been since '06. Now I have to have B12 shots because this has stopped my ability to absorb B12 from my diet.
