I imported my favorites from my IE into google chrome on new WIN10 computer. Old one prevented me from accessing att mail and got big error with trying to get here. I was trying to change my email address to gmail, was able to get activation here on chrome. But I keep getting 'not secure' on this site and said 201 cookies viewed it. Have similar problem, but haven't tried it here on chrome yet, for another proboards base copd site. My new email does appear on my profile.
Any suggestions about making sure this forum is secure?

Skate, I'm pretty sure that we are safe on this forum!! Nobody can do anything to us we don't have our credit cards out right? So I would have to say yes we're pretty safe here. And I'm sure that John and Jim and David all take control of that part! I wouldnt worry honey. You dont need added stress in your life!! Take care dear. Xx

Skate, from my new computer both Firefox browser and McAfee internet security verify that this site is clean and safe.

Hi Skate, this site is as secure as most today, if someone is a determined hacker, they can get in just about anywhere. I had my own Proboard's site for ten years before I came here and never had a security problem on it. Since I have been here I haven't seen a security problem either. From time to time we get spammers but either John or I get rid of them. John or I vet every new member and if they come up as a spammer we delete them straight away, if they come up as doubtful we keep a very close eye on them. Hope this helps Skate.

thanks - did install antivirus - and it came with Macavee too installed. I think it is something in the settings and the way the stuff from IE was transferred. Thanks for your assurances.

Had queried the other site and was told it was because they do not have a certificate but internally they are secure....
