I cheat and use Birds Custard in the can , just follow the directions on the back. Sure would like Morningstar and Linda to post their recipes though..

This is a quick and easy way to make traditional British custard on the hob. You mix 2 tablespoons of powder with some sugar and milk and mix to a paste. Then add 1 pint of nearly boiling milk, and heat gently to the boil. Serve over your favorite pudding! This one tin makes 8 pints of custard. Product of Great Britain. The directions are on the back of the can...which you can purchase at the grocery store...

Sorry Pat I was trying to use the image shack upload yesterday but it would not work, the code was for the pic...I just uploaded the picture of the tin so you would know what to look for at the store...
