Another Tool for Caregivers has started by the VON. There's many people in Canada who rely on their services right across Canada. "Caregiver Connect Media Launch Today, VON Canada (Victorian Order of Nurses) launched a groundbreaking new tool for Canada’s nearly three million caregivers: “Caregiver Connect…from Caring to Sharing/De l’entraide au partage…aidants en réseau.” Am I a Caregiver? You are a caregiver, if you provide assistance with: Personal Care: dressing, bathing, eating. Household Work: house cleaning, shopping/errands, preparing meals, yard work. Coordination of Care: transportation, making appointments, arranging services, visiting. Support: phone check-in, supervision, emotional support. Nursing Care: medication, changing dressings. www.caregiver-connect.ca/en-us/Pages/Home.aspx

Blossom, this is a nice site. Even though I am not in Canada, I found that my friend is indeed a caregiver for me since he does somethings from four of the five categories listed on the site.
I hope the caregivers do check this site out.

Good to see you Stargazer......maybe you'll update us soon on your partner?
Perhaps they have something like this in the US Aero? The VON has been around for a LOT of years here. BTW; there's an interesting piece in this Fall's edition for Caregivers you may find useful...
