I used to be logged in forever, and now ever so often I have to log in. I tell it to keep me forever, but..... Do you happen to know why this is happening. I'm so sad, . It's not a big deal for me, but if I ever am not able to let you know if something's happened to me and one of my kids tries to tell you, this could happen and be a problem. Thanks! Sue

Sue....
I'm not sure why that would happen. That's not a setting we can change or alter any more than seeing your PM's or knowing your password.
Unfortunately, this forum here is a "freeware" program. We can't afford it otherwise. We're restricted in that we can only do certain things.......
Frankly; if you have to "log in" when you've set things up for "log in forever"... I can only say that you may have your Internet settings to clean out your browsing history and cookies every "x" number of days (assuming you're using Explorer) but beyond that.... I really don't know....
Sue; frankly; it IS a big deal.... to me; to all of us....
and yes... your kids DO need to to be able to get in touch; and just as important is your friends and 2nd family (here) to stay in touch with YOU; whether day to day or if you ever need us more.
Every couple of months we suggest a "Buddy Up" ....
but that only works if folks within our own (personal) families have someone to call in our COPD family (like us here) or if (they) know "how" to get onto the site here.... Make sense? Sure sounds weird when I read it! BUT; I think you get the message.
That's where your "sharing" with them comes in to play.
Just "one" person is all it takes to "relay".
The biggest challenge can be making sure that "one person" in one's own personal family knows and understands the importance..
So.... I don't know if you've "Buddied Up" but may I offer to exchange prsonal phone #'s and family contact info if you haven't with someone already? You can PM me or.... Just send anyone on the forum a PM (private message) and ask to be "Buddies". I've NEVER heard a negative comment, or anyone ever saying no, or being negligent if they take on that responsibility!
We're all family .....
