Bobbi, that's great news, and I'm sure you'll ace the tests and interviews.

So glad that they are getting this rolling. It will be a very stressful, emotional, and psychological type of day. Very demanding. Be sure to take some snacks and make arrangements to eat whenever you normally do.
You will do absolutely fine!

Bobbi, I am curious about the demographics of the people in your class. Are there any other transplant hopefuls, or mainly people trying to improve their lives with COPD? How many people are there each time, and about what age group would you say they mainly are? I don't suppose there is anyone who lives close to you so you could carpool. Did you tell us how many weeks this would be for? Just curious.

Its 3 months 12 weeks 3 times a week. One lady is on matience Rehab she was there 5 yrs ago when I went was going to get a transplant then but they still dont think shes bad enough. No no one close. Yes its well worth the drive! We have 4 in the class. 2 Are in their late 60s they are not very bad yet. We got a new guy today 61, He looks very bad, Then me. The Cardio ppl are not with us. I do the new step, treadmill, and a arm bike with peddles cant think of the name. Costs me 12.50 Co pay each time I go. They provide O2 while Im there. Also valet parking free and the wheel me up . Wow, perfect information, Bobbi, just what I wanted. So, nobody post-transplant either. I wonder if Cleveland has you do post op rehab. That's really great that there's only 4, good individual attention for each of you. It will be interesting to see what kind of improvement the new guy ends up with at the end of his series. I've heard of people barely able to walk, or not able to, and ending up walking a great pace, etc. I can tell you are going to receive great benefits from this, too. Esp. if you keep it up at home on the TM like you're doing. You must really be feeling great. (how's the infection, btw, ). It's also great that you get free valet parking and a ride up to the room. Otherwise you might be all worn out just getting through that part walking. I know I would be.

Great work on the rehab Bobbi, you won't regret it. Hope things go well with the TX eval. Let me know if I can help at all, it is a trying time and can be stressful but it is soooooo worth it!
