Chirs & Gwen have certainly been very busy over the past couple/few months, the latest with their house sale and move. Even for younger healthier folks, it can really wear a body down. Unfortunately, and as many of you are aware... Chris has had esophageal cancer and has done the rounds of chemo, radiation and surgery previously. It now appears that he's looking at radiation and chemo again. The best thing for me to do is to simply tell you what he said .... For those of you who are familiar with Chris and his battles the past couple years you'll have a better understanding of how draining and tiring this latest can be. COPD isn't easy. Cancer and COPD is even harder to do battle with. For those of you/us who have, or had, you know exactly what I'm talking about. It can truly wear and erode the body and spirits. Chris is aware I'm putting this up and has further told me for here... Please join me in wishing Gwen and Chris strength, our love, support and prayers, in facing this latest challenge.  |

From what Jackie wrote, it has been a long battle for you, but you are still standing and still fighting, I sincerely hope, that is the last battle you have to fight and you will have won the war and get your life back.

I am so sorry you are facing this again, Chris, but know that you will beat it again knowing your strength and the power of the prayers that accompany all the posts from the forum. th_thflower_rose_open I haven't heard any news of how you are doing, Chris, and pray you are coming along well. I know you don't have time to sit or energy to sit and read the posts but hope that maybe Gwen will see this and pass along some well wishes and prayers for your recovery.

Chris, I am so sorry I missed this till now, I pray that all is going well for you and that a full healing will follow for you. Gwen, you are a trooper and I hope you are getting enough rest. Did you even get unpacked before this happened ? Sending prayers for both of you.

I had hoped that Chris would have been in having talked with him a couple times (I'd also sent him a link for here) I know he doesn't care for the new forum set up but; it's understandable. Some don't.
All I can tell you is that he seems to be doing very, very well these days. I don't "think" he had chemo, but he did have a few rounds of radiation.
Hopefully in time he'll stop in and update us!
