Just got home again..... I'm not sure if D was clear as to where I was. It wasn't a rest believe me! Anyway...... I'm defintely becoming a frequent flyer at the hospital but hopefully we've found a solution to part of my problems! No vent this time though! Thank you all so very much for your love, prayers and concerns! They can have quite an impact on a person I'll tell yah! I'll fill you in in due course in Over the Fence; Just please be patient. I'm worn out!  . My love to you all and I so hope you've all been well yourself! I'll be reading and looking for it. Good night e'one...... and again thank you from the bottom of my heart. It's good to be home...... |

Jackie - you know we all love you, glad to hear you are back home. So I will wag my finger back at you to take your time and rest and pace yourself! We love hearing from you personally but we can wait a few days between updates for you to rest your fingers on the keyboard.  Your recuperation and health is the top priority. You know........ when asked D about putting up a post about me being in the hospital again, I said yeahp; but NOT in Thoughts & Prayers.... Put it in Over the Fence. Let's face it..... at some point a person gets tired of reading the same rhyme! or maybe thinking they're confused. Then; John in all his kindness; what does he do?  Puts a post up here in Thoughts & Prayers! Sheesh. Here I am trying to give you all a break! God love ya though.... you were still there when I opened my eyes and for that alone I am immensely grateful that you were. Then the other day I said I'm taking my ball and going home. Not to worry; ot was all OK's; just made them work harder quicker . I'm going through a LOT right now; by the same token I'm learning a lot as well. When you get to the more advanced stages, the rules and even the disease itself changes considerably; especialy if you have comorbidities ...... It's that way with any chronic illness. As we travel the regular/earlier course of our disease We can identify/see a potential change or possible health conditions in someone else and we suggest or pass info along to them to let them know "you're not alone" and introduce maybe something that might be helpful. I hope to share some of this new stuff I've been learning/living and I hope that when you encounter new things, especially first hand, that you will too. In doing all of that we educate and contribute and benefit. Each of us amasses a tremendous amount of knowledge and info over the years but it's only good if you do the same with the next generation of folks. Ordinary to you may be darn right unordinary and unique to them in their minds! There's things we talk about; and things we don't but could/should. The members (you) make that decision in the course of day to day. Anyway..... I want you to know that I LOVE you, I RESPECT you and I/we, all of us here, APPRECITE each of you. And you were a darn nice thought knowing you would be here wgen I got home. So....... in closing (at least for here ) This is for you..... from my heart to your heart.... |

Good to hear from you Jackie. Yes, as we advance we're not sure who might be either just ahead or right behind in their dealings with COPD. I mention things I'm doing since I feel there must be someone out there going thru much the same thing. And that's not even considering the co-morbidities. I like to think I'm helping. If nobody does this then the forum is not doing its' job.
I have a few things that could be discussed but I'll leave them for a few days and think on them some more.
