A representative from my O2 supplier came by to do a scheduled check on the large Oxygen concentrator that they rent to me. I had the machine set on 2 lpm when he unplugged the hose it read 4 lpm. While he showed me this he explained that the concentrator had to work that much harder due to crimps in the long hose. Further the company that supplied the oxygen was attempting to cut corners. He provided me with two swivel connectors and two 25 ft. hoses.
I’m okay now but when I think an oxygen delivery person taught me more than my Pulmonologist I just don’t know what to say.

I don't understand, the machine was set on 2L but producing 4L because the hose was crimped? Eek, mine is crimped a lot.
