Susan had and always will have a special place in my heart. When I first joined this site, she reached out and took my hand and guided me. I didn't have the pleasure of a long friendship with her, but we exchanged many messages, she was one of the sweetest, kindest and caring people I have every met, truly an Angel.
Seems like God needed another Angel, take care dear friend. beating-heart
I will always think of "miss suzy sunshine" whenever I think back to the dark days when I was first diagnosed and found this forum. She was so helpful, empathetic, encouraging, and just plain wise. Her posts were full of her indomitable spirit, and her love for her family, her husband, her children, and all of us with COPD just shone every day she wrote. Her stories were full of wit and humour, and she possessed that great ability to laugh at herself and make others laugh along with her in sympathy.
So sad to hear that Sue has passed on, she was such a warm hearted woman always ready to help others, even while battling her own demons. My heartfelt condolences and prayers going out to her family and friends. Just know that she is in a far better place now that her race has run, and she is breathing easier, pain free. Lighting a candle in memorial. Bless you all.

Just saw this myself. Yes, Sue was a great help to me at the beginning when I first joined. Loved to read her life stories, she made me chuckle. Every time I come back I try to see if she had posted, then I found out she was very very sick.
My condolences to her family and close friends, and yes she was a ray of sunshine that one. I will miss you. Hugs.
