Not sure what to say other than maybe if you can check with your oxy meter to see what your o2 level is . I know I can't fly with out supplemental o2 . You might want to go to a clinic if your out of town and they can recommend the appropriate remedy to your situation . Good luck and please let us know how you make out .

Have you asked your dr about flying? I have tried an internet search & cannot find anything specific about flying with bullae. Do you have giant bullae that if they burst would cause your lung to collapse or average size? I have bullae in my lungs as large as 5 cm but i personally don't fly so never thought about it. when i had a surgery on my neck my pulm warned me that "the worse" thing that could happen is a bullae would burst. I asked him how i would know if it did & he said i'd wake up with a tube coming out of my chest..... Which makes me wonder if besides getting your Dr's okay to fly, i would ask him if this is something you need have the airline you fly with aware of.
interesting question. (makes me wonder if any kind of traveling where one would cross mountains of high altitude/elevation would affect bullae also)
