A friend sent me this message and the only time I have had surgery was in 1980 for a Strangulated Hernia...Guess it was the closest I came to facing serious consequences by ignoring the building up pain...It was the Friday afternoon before a long weekend and off to our regular surf and camping spot, i decided to drop into my GP's , as it was a few doors up from where i bought the weekend supply of Amber Fluid....On examining me, which no further details need expressing, I was told to go home and get to the Private Hospital that was on their patrol.....Was operated on very soon after arrival....Was a fairly long recovery period after that....and a missed what I was told was a great time away....... MESSAGE " Peter ,you may be able to answer a question for me...A friend of mine with COPD, needs 3 operations,1 he has to have the bottom end of bowel removed, 2 has to have a hernia repair, 3 and needs to have an aneurysm repaired, what he needs to know is how long between anesthetics, does he have to wait before he can have each done.I thought it may be a 3 month between each procedure, but I am not sure ,do you have any idea what period of time he would need to wait,Any information would be helpful and thank you''
