Well we thought he was slipping into a coma, it was curled in a ball and breathing very heavy like that rattly sound before you're going to pass, but he took a 90% turn and was sitting in the dining room this morning having a coffee with a lady friend.
My cousin Teri, and her husband Morgan, went into his room and he wasn't there right away my cousin thought oh my goodness he died, she went and ran to the nurse and they said he was sitting in the dining room, she was so stunned when she walked in there she just looked at him and he said and I quote what's wrong with you what do you think I was going to be dead or something my cousin said well Dad you weren't doing very well the other day? And he just laughed I don't get it, he has very bad dementia it's getting worse so maybe between that and his throat cancer is really sore he can't eat and lost so much weight, and he's always been on the thin side anyway now he's really thin, he was in a wheelchair the kind without the big wheels just a few wheels on it and we love them self all over the place and he walked with the Walker to the dining room he is really something, my cousin is very bewildered about all of this so I told her to talk to his doctor and find out if maybe he's in such pain when she sees him like that and then when she sees him in a good way because maybe they are giving him pain medication?
She said oh my goodness I never even thought of that maybe that's why he feels so much better so she's going to speak with the doctor see what he says and I'll keep you updated but so far so good what a trooper 89 years old I just love him to pieces goodnight everybody
