That is interesting. I am trying to figure out if that is more environmentally friendly than herbicides, or using animals.
It would be interesting to see what damage it does to the soils.

What about the earthworms. They refurbish the soil.

I remember when I worked for the Solid woods Company they had to be careful when they did the
slash burns on the clear cuts. If they fire burned on one spot for too long it sterilized the soil and basically rendered it useless for growing anything. And “too long” was not very long at all!!!
If it burnt for long it kills all of the bacterial, seeds, nutrients in the soil.

From what I've read it is better than herbicides and doesn't sterilise the soil or kill the worms because it is only on the weeds long enough to kill the cells, then the weeds die. They are not setting the weeds on fire.
