The attached article is quite lengthy and as a result I did not re-post it here. It appeared in Pulmonology Adviser publication and is a step by step instruction in how a doctor should diagnose and treat COPD, the option, drugs to prescribe etc. It also covers how to deal with "Co-morbidities".
I thought it might be useful if people are wondering if their doctors have covered the proper steps.

I guess they should have just sent me to the pysch floor as my copd/emphysema has none of these parameters....but I was sick as could be only utter three words at a time - we are all different.

Skate, you are correct, we are all different. I am not sure how we get the doctors to recognize that. And I am not sure how we get the doctors to keep up with the information about our conditions.
