Friendly reminder to others....
During our current times, many of us don't drive our vehicles. Some support folks bring us stuff or we may walk to the store. If you haven't driven your vehicle for a while, do hop in it and drive around. It too needs a nice "drive around the block" to keep it lubricated and working good. A sitting vehicle ages fast - just like a sitting body. If wondering, we drive all our vehicles every week - even if only zip around the city block and back.
Hope this reminder helps...

Well, here we are not aloud to drive around, just to go to absolutely necessary. I can drive to caregiving for my elderly relatives. Fines are about $ 1000 .

If you cannot "drive around the block" at 1 time per week, simply start it and move it back / forward within the driveway or apartment building's large parking lot. If one lets a vehicle sit too long, it internals age very fast. And, its battery could be dead - when one needs it for a future emergency. For my wife, she must drive to the grocery store or other stores to get mandatory supplies for our Special Needs son every 3 days. For each "drive about", she takes a different vehicle. Thus, giving each of our 3 vehicles their minimum weekly exercise as well. This works for us....

Thanks, Spike, for the reminder! Haven’t drove the car since last week so “moving” it is definitely on today’s to-do list! My battery doesn’t get charged much as I live in a city and everything I need is close. Plus a bus 🚌 stop right outside my door!

For those that can, take you car out for a drive. I paid $1.19/Gallon yesterday. I am going to try to use all 22 gallons up as quick as I can. Good for the Tahoe, good for the oil workers, who really need our help.

Travis so true! I need to drive my car. If I remember how? I need a sticker and I can't get one now. But I don't think I'll get stopped? Nothing open to get one, I don't think? My hubby does all the outside stuff. Car 🚗 truck 🚚 and all that. He's been working, last couple of day's but he only is doing cemeteries and a few others. He's doing clean ups but only one minute up the road. Thanks again for this reminder!! Barb, good to hear from you. Now to get skate in to say she's ok? 🙏 everyday for you all.

Gail, Anything that requires government authorization, ie....licenses, registrations, etc., are not being enforced. Besides it is not good for the American Spirit to behave like a bunch of sheep, corralled by regulations. Enjoy your drive, it's like riding a bike you never forget.
