How peaceful...and beautiful! I am surrounded by busy city streets and the interstate highway is less than a mile away. Thanks for posting this, Jim!

It sure looks peaceful Sally, like you I live in a city, but thankfully we can get out of the city on minor roads from where we live. I'm really hoping we can go on this road trip out west of the state.

Hi Gail, in years gone by we would camp, but now we will be staying in motels. I would love to get one of these little "camper" trailers, but no way can we justify the cost and we haven't got the money anyway.
I hope you are right about us being able to go. I'm working on it, I've put my portable oxygen concentrator in for a service, no way could I go without it. I'm checking maps and planning the stops, also making a list of things to see and do in each town. I've also got the offline maps working on the tablet I bought, that's a plus. Today I'm going to try to put the dash cam in the car and check that the small 12volt air compressor is working.
PS. I always have paper maps in the car in case the tech devices go down.

You have to imagine everything going smoothly and good vibes only throw out the negative thoughts bc yes you can do it! Unless they close everything down again, that would be the only thing stopping you. And you made sure all the town's you will be going through will be open? They said the 2nd pandemic is probably coming but they don't know yet.
That's awesome about you're maps. I believe everyone should be able to read one! It's great fun. Maybe we can all meet up at the half way point? Love yah!
