A favourite with my graddaughter who often stays over. Its a modified version of a recipe I found elsewhere. Chicken & Corn Stew Cook in slow cooker on low
2 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed 2 Carrots, diced 1 Onion chopped 4 Sticks celery chopped 1 Teaspoon coriander 1 Teaspoon basil 1 Teaspoon thyme 1 Can whole kernel corn 410 grams (15 oz) 1 Can creamed corn 410 grams (15 oz) 1 Can diced tomato in juice (410 (15 oz) (Fresh in season) ¼ Teaspoon pepper Salt to taste

Larry; I'm still trying to adapt to using a slow cooker since you got me into one. I'll DEFINITELY try this one (recipe) and let you know. Sounds good. What do you serve to go with it as a side?

Mostly we have mashed potato with it, rice is also OK. Depends on the size of your slow cooker but if big enough potato cut into one inch cubes cooked in with it come out great. That word is a pain, S-P-O-O-N, WHY DOES IT CENSOR IT ;D

Just one last question.......how long do you cook it for? I have a small one (4 qt cooker). Since DH is picking up the groceries today I'll make sure I have e'thing for it tomorrow.

O.K. I think I was able to remove the word from the censored list though it wasn't really there to start with. "poon" was censored thus it might have affected "spoon". Guess I'm about to find out once this is posted...
