CONGO SQUARES
2-2/3 Cups of Flour 2-1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 lb. margarine 1 lb. light brown sugar 3 eggs 1 8oz. Pkg. Chocolate chips 1 cups chopped nuts if desired
Melt margarine and sugar togather and let cool
Add eggs ,one at a time, mixing by hand
Add dry ingredients and mix well
Add chocolate chips and nuts
Pour into well greased pan, 13x9 pan, and bake for 25-30 minutes
It is better to underbake rather than over bake
