sorry, Bobbi just called me, she asked me to post that she is in the hospital with Broncitis, the Dr.s are worried she might get sicker, she sends her love, and Jackie she said she did njnot have your number on her,

Oh Dear...... Thank you Linndie. If she's talking with you again please tell her not to worry about not having my number with her. The important thing is that she DID contact someone. I'll try touching base with her later. For now she needs our prayers, and/or positive thoughts. She's one of us (COPD family) and a "regular" here at the forum. Bobbi......I'm sending Sarah over to watch over you; she's been around a few years now and she knows the ropes and routine. Get WELL SOON!  |

Oh dear, I'm sorry to hear she is in the hospital with bronchitis. Hopefully she will bounce back soon. That's what happens when we are exposed to little kids and their coughs and colds, and she does care for her little grandson.  |

...Just a brief bit of info/update... I spoke with Bobbi earlier this afternoon. She has bronchitis but yes they are nervous of pneumonnia. She figures she's gonna be in a couple of days. (All things considered she didn't sound too bad) When she went to her Dr; (hubby put his foot down  ) he (the Dr) sent her to the ER. Six hours later she was seen. (Guess that seems to be the norm no matter where you live)From what I understand/gather from talking with her...... They've been rehydrating her (she figures she got dehydrated the day/night she was running a fever. Her BP also went way up. They also have her on Medrol I think she said; started at 6 mg, increased to 40 mg today. She's in a private room which pleased her since she's always afraid of getting/catching something from the person in the next bed. Additionally she mentioned that she figures she's been less diligent about using hand cleaner lately. Now; you know what I know info wise. Anyway; I'll try touching base with her tomorrow.... Gotta tell you guys....this one caught me off guard even though I was concerned. Give/send your prayers/love...... she may not be able to read it right now but she will be able to later or maybe a family member will print it off and take it in. to go along with Sarah....  |

This is Rachael Bobbis Daughter i just wanna thank everyone for your concern and prayers. I must say i often give my mom grief about always being on here and how its just a chat. But now i really do see its alot more. and i know shes gonna love reading all the nice things you guys had to say.  |

Rachael, it was nice of you to stop in and post. It is possible to really make close friends online. I never thought you could but I have been doing it for 4 years now. Sometimes you just click with some. Depends on where you are posting.
I don't know your Mother as personally as some but I do know her and hope all is going well and she is soon back to her normal self.

She speaks highly of you all here as well.... She has high hopes of getting out by tomorrow. The past 2 days she had to wear her oxygen non stop but today they didnt think it was necessary so thats a good sign. im printing off her messages now so ill let u all know how much she enjoyed them later on
