BEWARE: This is important! This can be really important. I heard this on the news at dinner tonight. Maybe someone else can find a better article. www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/2668850/Hackers-breach-Hotmail-accounts.html People with hotmail.com addresses may have had their password gotten. Read the article and maybe someone that does this stuff more can put up a better source. Any knowledgeable computer people, like to hear from you. I have a question?? What if I have a lot of people in my address book that use hotmail address. Will that somehow come back tome. This stuff is all over my head.

Thanks for being so alert Mary and sharing. I'm not finished looking into it yet but.... this is the blog site blog.dixo.net/2009/10/06/pastebin-com-and-the-hotmail-password-leak/ (an off shoot of the web site/forum) where the mail account info was posted) and here's where the original list was postedhttp://pastebin.com/ They had to shut their main site down....I guess if I was concerned about the different mail accounts (including Yahoo and aol); I'd change my password. Anyway; I'll read a bit more on it later but; on the blog site (first link I supplied) there's a link taking you to a BBC News Article.

And the plot thickens. This from a later report seems to involve more than just Hotmail. -- Vic "Hotmail users aren't the only ones who've been hit by a phishing scheme over the past week. Google told BBC News on Tuesday that Gmail users have also been affected by the hackers who posted passwords online.
The problem is far more widespread than was disclosed on Monday, possibly affecting Yahoo and AOL e-mail accounts as well, according to BBC News.
Google described the issue as an "industry-wide phishing scheme." BBC News said it has seen two lists posted online with "more than 30,000 names and passwords" from Gmail, Yahoo, AOL, Microsoft's Windows Live Hotmail, and other service providers." news.cnet.com/8301-17939_109-10368361-2.html?tag=mncol;txt

I have problems keeping up with everything. I saw too that it included other than hotmail but still not read a lot more. I didn't wait for more info to post this because it did sound like something people should be aware of. Did you all realize that ADC uses hotmail. I guess this is part of what I wonder about. I have several people in my address book with hotmail addresses. Does that become a problem for us. Nice to see you all.
