1 c. butter 1 c. peanut butter (crunchy or creamy) 1 c. nuts if creamy is used 1 lb. powdered sugar
Melt butter and pour in large mixing bowl. Add peanut butter, sugar and nuts. After it becomes stiff, shape into small balls and lay on tray lined with wax paper. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. In double boiler melt 1 pound bag chocolate chips and 1/2 cake paraffin wax. Dip the candy balls in this mixture. Use toothpicks and dip ball. Leave the top uncovered, this makes the balls look like buckeyes. Keep refrigerated.
