Since the warmer weather is upon us, it would be a good idea to have the book club be put on hold till the fall.
Many thanks to all that kept this going and alive during those hibernation months!!!!!!
Have a great summer all

Aero, many thanks for 'hosting' the book club, you did an awsome job. Looking forward to the fall/winter selections.

I am not a book club person BUT - I came across this book called "Learning from Hannah" by William H Thomas, M.D. subtitled "Secrets for a Life Worth Living" Written as fiction but with a very strong parable about where the elders fit into life. I believe that it would make an excellent book for the club, but is anyway a very readable and thoughtprovoking book

Aero, One book I just finished that might make a good candidate for the club this winter is Share of Honor by Ralph Graves ISBN # 0-8050-0508-0 A fictional account based on fact of the Philippines set in WW2, pre-war, the invasion and occupation then the liberation. An easy read but factual and thought provokeing account of the lives of a small group of people. I don't know how easy/hard this book would be to get ahold of. My sister picked it up in a garage sale.
