It seems we go through periods of time where many have "important" appoinments or expecting results of same. Or maybe just something really signifigant in their lives that they want to share for a certain date. Sometimes it's hard to remember who has what and when but I think you'll agree that each member's events are equally important and we don't want to accidentally overlook any.
For that reason I've activated the Calendar.
If you check along the top (where it says Home, New Topics Help etc, etc, ) You'll now see Calendar. If you click on it the current month will come up. If say you're having a CT scan on the 30th of the month, just click on the date (the 30th) and add your entry. (It'll come up looking like a post when you do it) Then click "post Calendar Entry"
If the current month is Oct.; and your appt isn't till Nov. 15th, on the left hand side of the month there's a drop down bow. Just change it to November and follow the above.....
At the very bottom of the "home Screen" you'll see whether there's any events posted for the current day, based on the entries.
The Calendar is only accessible or visible (the entries) to Registered, Logged On members.
An add on - Please delete your posts (entries) after the specific day has passed otherwise it'll show up in the same month again in the following year.[/b]Jackie

What a great feature! I love it! I always hate it when I forget who has what going on and you're right, everyone's just as important as the others.
