I've never thought of using creamed corn. That sounds good. I'm going to try it...soon.

Sounds good. I had a recipe that was okay but not in love with it. Gonna try this. Thanks

John, I've never used cream corn either, but am going to try it. I grew up making it with peas and carrots, but I make it with just nibblet corn now. Thanks for sharing.

I'm pretty sure, and this WAS a long time ago, that I made it a meatloaf, then topped it with the potatoes. I don't remember using vegetables at all. But I'm getting old-timers now, so..... This way would surely be a lot easier.

I've never used cream corn either. (I mash the corn into the potatoes) I also make a gravy with mushrooms in the ground beef (as the bottom layer) But heck John.... your creamed corn might be easier!

Some really intersting ideas here - I have only had Shephers's pie with cream corn and a can of corn niblets. Will have to try them - One of favorite comfort foods.
