We have a large family here and it always amazes me that we have so few problems! That speaks highly of you, the members. It’s a rare occasion that the Forum’s Admins have to ever intervene between two members . You make that part of what we do easier and for that, and many other things, I thank you. But; every once in a blue moon the odd thing crops up …. You see; it’s easy sometimes to “react “ or “overreact” if we misinterpret the “typed word” or “the intent” of same, add on a bad day and/or family stresses. Those are the times that are challenging for us as individuals and that’s when we have to step back, take a deep breath, and consider the post in another light and take into consideration the individual’s situation. Heaven knows I’ve been there a few times myself! The problem is that sometimes, we do “react” too quickly and that danged “wriiten word” can cut pretty deep. In the long run though, none of us wants to hurt the other because that’s not what we come here for. Anyway; every once in awhile we have to remind ourselves of the guideposts we have. The “Rules of the Road” They’re there for a reason. If you’ve not read them, or if you need to be reacquainted… here they are…. philns.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=rules&action=display&thread=2106Please note #3 and #6 and the summary…… Summary... "Basically; please exercise caution in your posts and think how you would feel if you were on the receiving end." It's a simple equation..... you give to get... Give respect to get respect. Give understanding to get understanding. Just a gentle reminder to us all.... Thank you, Jackie On Behalf of the Admin
