If you’re registered AND logged on…. (not simply coming in as a guest)
You can send and receive private messages from other members . (At the very top of the banner where it says Welcome and your name you’ll see if you have any messages. It’s also where you click to send a message to another member OR click on their name and you can send one)
You can start a poll or vote on an existing pole
You can see areas that are not open to people who aren’t logged on. i.e The Rogues Gallery, Caring and Sharing, Cancer & COPD, Announcements and info for members of COPD Canada Patient Network (below this area)
You can see and add to the Monthly Calendar
You can see the files/categories marked “new”, on the main page that you’ve not looked at.
Remember; being registered but not logged carries the same restrictions.
Finally; in the event we have to close to the public for a brief period, as we have had to recently, you’ll still be able to visit, participate or just read. Whatever you’re comfortable with.
If you want; rather than “looging on” each time you visit, you can always just check the box that says… “Stay Logged On” That way you don’t have to keep re-entering your password when you come back.
