:'(Thank you all very much. I sure need all the prayers and good wishes I can get. The doctor WVU said only one time has he ever seen bones as thin and brittle as mine. When only 1 year ago they were fine. I went to stand and take a couple of steps to my motorized wheel chair. I had hold of Tom's arms as always. And when I stood it sounded like hundreds of tooth picks braking and I was falling forwark Had Tom not been there broke my fall I have no doubt I would have broken my bones. But, please pray for me my friends as the Doctors have told me I will never walk again. Thanks again, Rosemarie

Rose..... I really really don't know what to say. You must be hurting terribley both mentally and physically..... I can only imagine. First order of business is to get some strength back and get rid of the pain. Concentrate on that O.K.? Maybe then things will start to fall into place a bit more. I'm truly sorry Rose......

Oh Rose, that makes me want to cry and I can't bring myself to believe that. I say, never say never, but I know that's easier said than done. I pray that God will put his gentle arms around you to let you know he is there and knows how you feel, and most of all I pray he gives you Hope...that wonderful word which you might not now think there is any....but hope can carry you through one day at a time, and maybe with some bone building meds and physical therapy, you will be able to walk again. This is my prayer and my hope...We all love you....Joyce

I know everyone is different, but my mother had osteoporosis, and when she broke her leg, I saw an xray of her bones. I could barely make them out. They were so thin, they looked like a thin veil or shadow, not a bone. But, she went to rehab and yes, she did walk again. She was using a walker at the time she broke her leg and after rehab was able to walk using that same walker. She was slow, but she got to where she was going. I pray that you can do the same. The doctor told me that her bones were so thin that she could break a hip just sitting in her chair, but that never happened and she walked again and she never broke another bone again. Hugs to you...Joyce
