this site is something else, my brother jim recently joined this site and was so impressed told me about it, im so glad he did and now i have joined in after none stop reading for the past 3 hours.
the love and support u find here is heartwarming and much needed by everyone with or without copd. i have suffered with copd for more than ten years and over those years i have learned to cope i think the worse thing ive had to deal with is the inability to do the things i want to do. with copd anyday can possibly be our last and i fully intend to live my life to the fullest and be as happy as i possibly can. my motto is to do your best spread love, hope and happiness and never give up.

we were all Grateful when we found this site, it makes it so
much easier to share with people who understand...that's a
whole lot of reading that you have done...

Sharont....that sounds like one H of a motto! I can't say I know exactly who your brother is (he may be under a different name?) BUT....that was a very kind thing for him to say about the folks here. 10 years huh? Way to GO!!!!!! You're doing something right! Jump right in ANYWHERE! We've got some great mods that'll help you along the way. . Some people check in daily at the Fence- it's open to anyone, anytime... (come pop in and have a coffee with us), or If there's a general interest item or COPD related issue you want to comment on, share or ask questions, by all means ask away. Or start a thread on a topic of interest or concern to you. Whatever YOU are comfortable with. Folks are pretty friendly and quite diversified here when it comes to COPD; and if they don't know something they'll point you in the right direction at the very least. There's a fair amount of info here and, as a bonus, I guarantee you'll be made to feel at home right away! If you've not yet joined our parent organization/ COPD Canada Patient Network, www.copdcanada.ca/sign_up.htm , please consider it. It's open to e'one internationally. Membership has it's benefits!
