We have been asked if we would allow a post for a student doing a study (Masters Program) at Dalhousie University.
I have met previously with her, as well as her supervisor; the request etc is quite legitimate.
Her work, and the info she's gathering is centred on patients and social media as it relates to COPD and Asthma.
This is an "unusual" study request in that it's for a temporary discussion forum (message board) that she has created for her info gathering. The site will be up for 4 - 6 months thus I would suggest it will end in June.
I have attached her "Recruitment Letter" for your review.
Now; before you read it, and to answer your question in advance..... yes; I had suggested/offered her space on this site to conduct her research since this is an established COPD forum and we felt she might get better results/feedback/input plus her site will be temporary.
However; her preference is to use one that she built for this purpose thus she can better structure and direct questions and threads. It's quite understandable. This is her degree project and she must be in control of same.
If you have any questions for her as it relates to the study, her e mail address is on the Recruitment Letter as well as the links to the message boards.

Is anyone here going to join? Does not seem like there is a list of members on that site? I'm thinking I may like to join..... but I'm not sure.
