thought I'd start a fresh thread to update....
Mary is feeling a bit better, her sinus infection seems to finally be breaking up but her hearing still has't come back......
But......Joe is not doing well....they think he had a TIA (minnie stroke) yesteday and not sure how long he will be with us...
Mary thanks everyone for your prayers and support and wanted to be sure I relayed that...she isn't up to the computer yet

Oh Zooooom; needless to say that saddens me. It really does. I'm sure others feel like me.... you know, wringing your hands and trying to think of what you can do.... .....but; you can't.  God love ya for posting this and Mary and Joe have remained in my prayers for awhile. It will continue. |

My heart aches for both Mary and Joe. I am happy she is feeling a bit better. I know the stress she must be dealing with. I will be keeping both of them in my heart and thoughts and prayers, sometimes life just throws us too much at once to deal with, does not seem fair.

MaryAZ, I will be thinking of you both and keeping in my prayers. I was sorry to Joe had a TIA hopefully not to much damage was done and he can recover.

Don't have much to add but talked to Mary today and she is slowly, very slowly feeling better....BUT, Joe is not expected to make it much longer....she is grateful for all the prayers

Sometimes life can be pretty dam*ned cruel. This is one of those times. Wendy; I know hot difficult putting up this kind of post can be and I thank you so very much. We all do. I hope Mary that you continue to gain some strength though God love ya; I don't know how you're doing it. You must be digging so deep into reserves; frankly; I'm simply astounded. Joe has been fighting valiantly; and for so long. He deserves, as do you Mary, and I pray, that his passing will be peaceful and gentle for you both as well as your entire family.... You have much love and prayers going out to you and yours from many different sources. I hope that you can feel it because it's huge and it's heartfelt. We love you and though we can't be with you "physically" right now, I hope you realize that we are all there in spirit.   |

How sad, I truly send my deepest heartfelt love, Mary you are such avaliant, brave loving wife, mother and friend.
I wanted Joe to make it and have some more time with you and the family. I hope his passing is gentle and kind. I am so sorry and am at a loss to exoress my self well. We are all keeping you, Joe and your family in our prayers and thoughts.

had a nice talk with Mary today. She is sounding good and said the memorial service (this past Sat.) was very nice. She and son, Don, have been going through things trying to clear out some stuff.
Her hearing is fully back so she feels better and is trying to exercise a bit too! She and her son want her to be able to stay in her home. She will have to get stronger to do this so has begun to work on it. They will look into getting her help.
She's hoping once they sort through all of the things in the house and decisions are through to get back online. She misses all of you and can't thank you enough for your prayers.

I was truly happy to read your post about Mary Wendy. Thank You. I was even happier to hear that she's actually starting to exercise and that she's looking at staying in her own home! This indeed is great news! With all that she's been through in particular; the past couple/few months , I have to say that I truly applaud her strength and courage as well as commend Don for his love and dedication to his parents.
