Made this today. Not quite what I was expecting, but pretty good.Didn't make the glaze, might have made the difference. Still tasty and the sort of thing to throw together on a spur of the moment. Comes out more a dough than a batter though.
Sounds like it would be very 'heavy'. Did you put anything on it? I get the impression you won't be trying it again. With all your many tricks up your sleeve, you needed a new recipe like a hole in the head (and you just got new ones of those, too,.)
