I had a regular scheduled DR (PC) appointment today that went well . Because I was telling him about some mussel pain in my lower legs !.Thinking this pain is being caused by the meds I use for cholesterol , He recommended COQ-10 ( over the counter ) .It helps open up blood vessels and to transfer energy to our cells . Does anyone have any personal history with this ? .I took my first one tonight after dinner . thankyou

Hi John, I haven't used that, but I take L'arginine, it works marvels on dilating and elasticising blood vessels. I have to get it from Swanson Health Products in USA because it is hard to come by and very expensive in the land downunder. If you Google it you should be able to find out more about it.

I also take it and I have taken it for years. It will take a while for you to notice a big change but you will notice it. If you are taking Rampril you will definitely get pain in the legs and this will help. My husband uses it for that. Good for you to have a Doctor that acknowledges natural over the counter remedies. I also get mine from Swanson's or if I see it on sale in Costco I will pick it up. Good luck!

I take CO Q-10 because my Doctor told me it supports heart health. I have been taking it off and on for a few years now.
