Hard as I'm trying, it's still gonna be a little bit before I'm fully functioning. Thre's still still some delayed psychosis that tags along after intubation and ICU etc plus the current meds...
So; please be patient.
Know that I LOVE you all and think of you so very much and want to cuddle you up like my scrunch teddy bear at night.Your thoughts and prayers have sustanied both D and I.....
Love Jackie W/ww (Blossom) (Wendy I'll be wanting my cape back n due course.)

Dear Jackie - Please take all the time you need to heal. Your body (and emotions) just went through a very, very stressful time. This is the season of renewal and growth...take time to enjoy a bit with your wonderful, supportive Dave. You know where to find us.

welcome8 back to your home away from home. We are all just pleased as punch that you are able to be there and here. You have been ill for so darned long that it's about time you were feeling better. I don't think there's a person here that's not been noticing that and wondering what's going on. We are so thankful that you're getting back on track and don't you worry about what condition you're in, you'll get back to our regular ole Jackie as soon as your body and mind let you. Took you a long time to get there, it's going to take you a while to get back.
I love you, sis. TAke care and remember the flowers and fish are waiting for you. you should be ready to throw out a line soon.
Sue

Jackie, it is just so good to see you pop in a bit, do not worry about how long it takes you to recover from the trials your body has just gone through. Take each day and enjoy what you can from it, and slowly you will come back. Big hugs and lots of grateful prayers.

Dearest Jackie, you are one hellava of a special lady and we all love you so dearly, you have and always will have a special place in all our hearts, you sure are a very, very addictive substance.
Please take your time and take care of you, "the Crew" will look after this site, your never ending desire to help those in need, until you are fighting fit again, like I know you will be.
I know I can be a sentimental old fool at times, but this comes from my heart and I'm sure that those who have been lucky enough to know you and come to love as I have would agree.
Love ya sweet Jackie. BTW your Dave is a special "dude" as well. beating-heart

Nothing like warm friends, love and coziness.... from D and I; thank you again.... The recovery is going.... home accessments yet to be finished, much rest needed.... and of course many, many weeks of double douse anti treatment to continue. Seems I've been sick for awhile (maybe even a couple of years now) with pseudemonas bacteria; common with being on a ventilator which I was 2 + years ago. It might explain some of the extraordinary symtoms that I've been battleing w/o being addressed. I've been saying for the past couple of years I've never totally cleared up an infection.....
Anyway; just wanted to keep you abreast and let you know you are close to my heart and oh how we needed and used those prayers of yours believe me!
With continued love..... from D and I......

Jackie, I am glad that they found out just what infection you have, now it can be treated properly. It's just a shame that it took so long to be listened to and for it to be identified.
Keeping you and Dave in my thoughts and prayers, take all the time you need to heal and pop in when you feel up to it, even just to read. We miss you but there are times that everything else gets shoved to the side so you can focus on what is truly important, getting healthy and strong.
BIG HUGS,

OK Jackie. Now I get it. Remember that's the infection they treated me for in '12 that I was in for a month for and had rehab for? Took them a month to diagnose and it couldn't be treated with oral anti's. I hope you recover better than I have as I still am struggling with it. I will pray every day for you, my love. You will will will get better!!! I hope Dave will be able to help you out the way you will need assistance. God Bless you two.
Love, Sue

To Jackie and Dave - even tho you are now home, it will be a busy time with all the assessments! In a way, I was glad when PT and OT were finished and I could just veg out the body needs rest to continue to heal !! When I read your post Jackie, all I could think of was, 'when are going to learn to LISTEN to the patient !?' I am so sorry this dragged on so long but tomorrow is another day and treatment now can be appropriate. Another plus is that Spring is arriving and sunshine will help with healing. I hope you and Dave are getting outside help for all the mundane things (groceries, meal preps, cleaning, laundry, etc.) So many of us are praying every day for you both for strength and courage to continue healing (and to stay out of the hospital!) "Pacing" is the word for the day

Saw on FB that you were home. I am so glad that you are home and will continue to heal and I know Dave is relieved. It has been so long since you were able to come back up to your baseline. I hope that now they can help you get this under control.
Rest rest rest!
Continuing to send healing thoughts you way.
