Does anyone know why we have increased SOB on windy days?
Even staying indoors is effected. What do you do to ease the SOB??

I don't really know Skate, but I know that on windy days, even if I stay indoors my eyes and sinuses start playing up. Maybe it's the build up of gunk in sinuses getting to the lungs.

When I am outside the force of the wind makes me exert more energy when walking which makes me short of breath.
I have noticed though the sea breeze coming off the Gulf Of Mexico helps me to breath better when I am standing and facing it.
I guess it depends on where one lives. I have read where China's air pollution is carried in the wind to the US. I am sure it works both ways.

The wind has been bad here for a few days and I've had a hard time breathing. I think it has more to do with the air pressure than the wind itself. For me, the snow mould is blowing in the wind and making it worse.

I don't know either but also experience that even on a warm windy day; I am thinking maybe pollutents in the air are more stirred up? I do know that when it is cold and windy I just try to stay inside and if I have to go out I use a scarf; I have been thinking about asking my Dr. for a mask as it leaves me breathless.
