I again lost my post ugh. I also love this song David! He looks the same, his hair being a little longer, in the Pic's I seen at his church he owns in Housatonic Ma. It was in the film Alice's Restaurant. It was mostly filmed around here in Massachusetts.
A very nice man. You would like him David. I met him when he had a shop in Pittsfield Ma. He had a Tree in the middle of his store. I like it.
Anyway ty for putting this up. 🤗

Great music, Gail
I kept up with Joey during her battle with cancer. She had cancer around the same time my Mom had cancer. She lived much longer than my Mom. My Mom and Joey taught me a lot about death. They were two strong women that fought the fight and run the race. I hope I can die with as much dignity as they had.

Me too David...
But that was sad. Now I will put up happy music. I just happen to have that in my list of favorites. I'm sorry about you're mom. I did read about her way back. You must have been close to her like I am to my mom?
I don't want you to talk about passing. Death is hard for me So let's be happy. You're turn for a song.

I'm really enjoying this thread....it's taking me back to my "waylin & willie" days. I didn't know John Prine was still around. He had an album out back in those days (80's?) that had a song with words; "Blow up the TV, throw away the papers, go into the country & build you a home." That started my dream of moving out of california & going somewhere that I would have land to grow my food & schools that were safe for my children; so began my steps toward where I live now. This is a little off the 80's songs you are sharing, but this artist I think has a wonderful attitude, a great voice & gives me inspiration when I feel down. I hope you don't mind if I share this once; (i hope this works) (ps. "preview" doesn't work for me---is there some special way to "preview" before posting?

I don't know why preview will not work for you.
One thing I have learned about posting a video is all you have to do is put the URL in the post and it will automatically show the video. You don't have to use the video thing in Reply. Just post the URL in the post. Hope that makes sense.

Wow, Ya'll been busy since I've been gone...David, Don't be sorry for music. I LOVE MUSIC. YAY...Willie Nelson... Willie and Dylan were playing down the street from where I used to live 5 years ago, you could not get anywhere near the place, we just sat out on the porch and enjoyed the concert, you could always tell when Dylan was singing . We lived up from the ball park. Lots of stars came. The wild cats played. Just a very fun park. Also every parade they parked up and down my street and also fireworks we had front row seats. Sometimes I do miss my old home. Great music you guy's..
