This will be brief for now; when I have additional info I'll let e'one know.
Over the past 36 hours Phil's been to Emergency twice. Night before last they kept him in o'night since he was due to see the surgeon in the morning for his regular appt. He was having pain in his chest at the ti,me. He saw the surgeon, the lung was still leaking so they were leaving it in. He was to see the Dr. every week thereafter.
This morning; he was rushed to Cobequid's Emerg Ctr again. When Shawna called me his CO2 was 116 and he was on 8 L of oxygen plus small dose morphine via IV. She has called me again....the Ctr has been in touch with his Thoracic Sugeon; they are now transferring him to the same hospital and floor he was in for a few weeks. I may go down there this afternoon; it depends upon what Shawna tells me when she calls again.
Please say a few prayers....he needs them
I will keep you updated as things develop.
Jackie

Shawna just called a few minutes ago. He's been transferred; same floor, room and bed. He's stable. The Dr hasn't been in yet. He's on 4L of O2, his HR is still in the 130's, he's awake; getting treatments, doesn't remember this morning's events. That's a blessing I think. ....Jackie
