I just found this site and feel as if will meet many of my needs. I was diagnosed with copd 4 years ago, although I am sure that I have had it much longer. I am on 3L of 02 24/7, have developed complications from a maintenance dose of metrol, but refuse to give in to this condition and stop activities. I intend to learn all I can about copd, try to keep people from starting to smoke and getting those who do smoke to quit. I had to give up certain activities, but am starting to walk for an hour daily, and am active on line with various support groups. I am definitely a people person and am very happy to be a member of this site.

Judy, Welcome to the site. I am sure you will find a lot here to help you. My name is Rosemarie. This is a very friendly site. There are many people here with a lot of information that will help you. And I have yet to meet a unfriendly one. Please come join us mornings for in Over The Back Fence where we talk about the weather, how we feel and our Resident Bear Feeds us. Take your time look around if you have questions just ask. Phil our fearless Leader is really up on most things COPD Any of us will do our best to help. We don't know all the answers but we are all willing to help you look for answers. Please post your picture and your family and pets. That lets everyone have a face and I have found it makes us closer. Welcome Friend, I will look forward to getting to know you. Rosemarie
