Bobbi's been hesitant about putting something up for several reasons but I also feel there comes a time when we need to ask for help in the way of prayers/healing thoughts and support from our friends and family. Now is that time. She has O.K.'d me to share a bit with you but I'll leave it up to her to add anything else and /or address any questions etc. As you are aware Bobbi's had a breast biopsy. It took awhile for the pathology results to confirm what she'd already suspected. She has breast cancer and she's further met with her surgeon y'day. Her surgery (lumpectomy) is scheduled for the 9th of January. They'll also take out the surrounding lymph nodes to check whether it has migrated at all. I don't know all the details (how long in the hospital or day surgery); I believe it's still being worked out between the surgeon and her pulmo Dr. though I do believe she said they'd keep her awake for it. Bobbi's been here since this forum began. So; to our friends and family here, and those of you who prefer to visit to read yet still stay connected; I think she could use with a heavy dose of our love and support and a home crowd cheering section.  It's a scary thing to undergo surgery when you have advanced COPD and to have that reason be the Big C, believe me it's amplified 10 fold. So dear Bobbi...... Know that we love you and we will be here now, there with you on the 9th, and we will stay with you the whole time.  |

Oh Bobbi, I am so sorry you have to deal with this. I will be one of those standing next to you to help keep you strong and brave through the surgery and everything else you are going to be dealing with. Bobbi, you are indeed carrying a heavy load. Please let us help to ease that with our love and prayers. Know that I'm keeping in my thoughts and prayers for a safe surgery and a good outcome. Big Hugs

The worst days will be the ones leading up to the surgery. My hope for you is that those days will pass quickly for you. Good thoughts and prayers coming your way.

Thank you for the kind words and support. I believe this shall pass to. I am prepared for whatever may come. I have faith god will yet guide me through this as he has many times.

Dear Bobbi,
I am so sorry you have this to deal with on top of everything you do, you have been a mentor to me and a pillar of hope and strength. I love you a lot, and know you will get through this and the outcome will be good, it has to be. All my postive thoughts and engry and love are being sent.
