everybody, this is Betty's daughter, Patti. Posting to let you know that she is indeed back in the hospital. Cannot seem to kick that pneumonia completely, hung on just enough to make her feel real bad about every 3 weeks since September! But, now they have put her on expensive antibiotics by IV and we expect her home in a few days. Here is the hospital phone number, but I am unsure about the email network thing there. Harmon Medical & Rehabilitation 1- (702) 794- 0100 Bless and Hugs, Patti

Thanks for letting us know Patti. Please let Betty know she is in our thoughts and prayers. We will be looking forward to hearing she is home again soon. Does the hospital have a service through which we can send her a card/greeting. I know some do and it is nice to receive. Hugs Gwen

I am so sorry you've been going through this, Betty. I hope this trip to the hospital and the full out antibiotics will do the trick finally...You must be so sick and tired of being sick and tired! I am sending prayers and angels your way to help in your healing. Thanks for letting us know, Patti. Do you think you could check with the hospital for us and find out if they have in-house email gift cards? I know when I was in the hospital the cards meant everything to me. Thank you! Pass this to Betty and tell her we're waiting for her!

Patti, thank you for letting us know that Betty is in hospital. This has been going on for far too long, hopefully with the IV antis, she will finally be able to kick this bug to the curb. Give her a big hug from us and tell her I am keeping her in my prayers for a full recovery.

Patti; Thank you very much for letting us know about your Mom. We appreciate it so very much. That would also explain why I've not been able to get in touch with her and unfortunately confirmed my suspicions.... Betty; you've been battling with this for a bit and obviously it was never totally gone. This time I hope they take care of it completely. If you make it back in here, please tell your Mom that we want her to get well and come home but not to be pushing for her release any sooner than what's needed for her body to heal. You'll be in our hearts, thoughts and prayers Betty ....

Ty everyone for such overwhelming responses. Now I know why she loves it here (Canada Forum) I cannot seem to find out if she can get email/messages for you all, sorry. Seems everyone is out for holiday who would know. Sighs. Take Care, Patti

Thank you for trying to find out about the email cards, Patti. I know for my local hospital the information is online. I just checked and couldn't find anything at google. Maybe you could try again on Weds? Please send her my love and wishes for a comfortable stay and a quick recovery, but like Blossom said: don't hurry out, take your time to get completely well before going home.

Glad that you are able to be home, Betty. I know there comes a point when all we can do is recover at home, just hope that you weren't sent home too early. Do you have someone who can cook for you so that you can eat that good food they recommended, . Rest is easy at home compared to the hospital where they come in every 4 hours to check your vitals, do breathing treatments, etc... It's so nice to get into your own bed, too, isn;t it? God bless you with continued recovery, Sue

Thanks again all, I really am tired and it is some effort to get up off the couch. Dang, I don't like this feeling.
My granddaughter Melissa is on here way here from California and will stay about a week. That will pick me up. Can't wait for her to get here.
Thanks again everyone and I will keep in touch as I can.

Hi Betty, You know your system better than we do, but if you feel you need help don't think twice. I know the hospital is the last place you want to be but sometime we need additional help. Hope you feel better sooner than later. Here is a big Hug for you.
