Just a quick update (as of tonight Feb 14th) Peter's stepdaughter called! The respirologist was in to see him today..... he's still on IV anti's but he's doing better! Katrina tells me it could be another week...... He's still on what I consider a "concern" type list/situation so; I know that your warm thoughts and/or prayers (and John; your shrine candle) will help immensely and; when he gets home, he can read all the love that's been pouring out to him from all of you. BTW; his neighbour has been taking care of Sha Mia... I did send him a card from all of us; hopefully he'll get it and maybe make him smile a bit... |

Peter's neighbour was kind enough to give me a call. He'd been in to see him.
He tells me he's looking very weak/thin BUT.... he didn't have his oxygen on and he wasn't getting any IV's. He's pretty sure he still has the remnants of pneumonnia and it'll be probably another week.
However; they DID have him up and walking a bit which is a GREAT sign IMO.
I'll check his phone again later today.... Even if he doesn't have it turned on, I'll leave him a message from all of us....

Thank YOu Jackie, it's a good sign that he is getting up on his feet now, even if he will still be in hosp. for a while longer. Hope you can get through to him later and have a good chat. Peter still sending healing thoughts and prayers, get well.

Boy, Peter, you sure got it hard this time, buddy, Hope you're doing as well as it sounds if you're getting up and walking the halls. It doesn't take much to weaken our muscles so glad you're doing this. Thinking and praying for you every day and everytime I pray.
