Hi Sandy Thank You for the welcome still trying to find my way around here. My name is Linda i was born in the UK i reside now in Idaho U.S.I have a wonderful husband Mark and a fantastic Son with 2 beautiful grandchildren. I am 62 and was diag with COPD 7 years ago walked out of the doctors office and threw away my cigs in the trash and never smocked again after smoking for 40 years. At first i had no clue what that was and i don't think my doctor was that educated either, all i know is that since i have been in the hospital several times i have tried to learn more about it and believe me at times i am still in denial, scared, frustrated, confused, all that goes with this decease.I think my biggest problem is that one day i feel great and can conquer the world the next day i can hardly breath.Glad i found you guys always nice to talk to others Linda

Hi Linda. I am an oldie but goodie here, . I live in NY state but nowhere near the big city. I live in the country, and 59 with 2 kids. A daughter who lives in Pittsburgh and a son who lives nearby. No grand kids but 2 grand dogs, . It's not uncommon to and overdo it and then pay for it for a couple days of exhaustion. It's so hard to pace yourself when you're feeling good, we all are guilty of it believe me. One thing you can do is prepare yourself if you know you're going to be doing something that's going to take a lot out of you. Rest BEFORE you overdo, , for a couple of days. It will help to minimize the feeling of overdoing. So glad to have you join us. We like our family to grow!
