Ellen's husband, Bob, needs prayers for a prostate biopsy he had done yesterday. He ended up having to go back and be catheterized in the afternoon and went back this morning. Last time this happened he was in the hospital for a few days, hopefully he'll be ok now. He's quite a 'young 70' years of age and I never expect to hear when he has a health problem as he's just so active and busy. He has as huge a heart as Ellen does and I love him dearly. Thank you, Sue

Thank you for the prayers. So far they are helping as he made it through the day without going back to the ER. Hope he sleeps well tonight and Ellen can sleep, too.
What a wonderful family we have here. Thank you again.
Love, Sue

Susanny,
I just saw this post. My brother had major surgery 7 years ago and has been on hormone therapy since then. The therapy has quite a few side effects but he is still very active at 60. Recently they sold their large home and moved to a duplex which is easier for them to keep up and unfortunately, he is thinking of his wife when she is alone as they have had no children but mentally it makes him feel better.
Hoping all goes well for him.

Thanks, Sue. That is good to know for the future. Right now we are just waiting for the results of the biopsies. One good thing is that he got through the problems he had much quicker than he did the last time. Continued prayers are always appreciated, of course.

Thanks to everyone for all your prayers and well wishes for Ellen's husband (Bob). I spoke with her today about him and she told me that all the biopsies came out benign, Whoohoo!!! And also, she said they told him he'd never have to go through it again! I am not all that up on the practices for prostate cancer, but knowing this is a good thing to pass along to a man who facing a check up. Knowing that there's an end to the testing, I mean, should they come out ok the first couple of times/
