In the Daily Meet & greet someone was having trouble copying a photo out of Facebook. The easiest way that I have found to do that is: 1. Put the mouse point on the picture and double click That will bring the picture to a full screen 2. click the right mouse button and that will bring up the following menu Attachment Deleted3. Select the Copy Image selection. 4. Go to whatever application you want to place the picture into lick the mouse where you want the photo, Hold down the Ctrl key and press v (paste).

Hi Gerald, thanks for posting this, but it didn't work for me, but it allowed me to find a quicker way than I have been using. At your step 3, I clicked on... Copy Image Location Then I came here and right clicked and then clicked on paste and the link was here. Then I type this [/img] at the end of the link and the same thing minus the / at the beginning of the link. Hey Presto the picture was here when I created the post. I know this is a bit hard to follow but every time I tried to say it in an easier way, because the two sets of brackets are code, it doesn't show up when I make the post. I've spent over a half hour trying to find a way of saying it that would work. I hope you all understand how it works

After I wrote this I did a bit of checking around on he Net and it seems that the Ctrl v shortcut is not working on my computer. I'll get my son to see if he can fix it for me, until then, I still have an easier way to post pictures than I did, so thanks again Gerald.
PS, I just tried the shortcut in Word and it works, so I'll ask my son if he knows what is going on.

I had to double click the photo to get ti to full page before the larger selection would show up on a right click. I had problems unless I did that.
The "Ctrl V" pre-dates windows but still works in most packages. Dates back to when the keyboards did not have all of the keys we have now. The useful ones are
Ctr; X - Cut Ctrl C - Copy Ctrl V - paste
they are handy when you are somewhere and the Copy / paste buttons are not available.

Well gents... TY ... I'll have to try doing it this way. It might be easier than Photobucket or Tinypic.
Gotta tell ya something though guys.... and I'm chuckling as I post this... I go back to "pre windows" so I can relate
I can honestly say, and I have a new"er" wireless keyboard".... some of the letters are worn off! Hubby can't believe I type and sometimes "blindly" in more ways than one.... and; I can also say that sometimes the keyboard doesn't like to keep up and I'm NOT a fast typist.
I will try your suggestions. I just haven't yet even though Facebook inter-connects now with the forum here.... thanks guys
