All that means is that we suggest members to make contact with another member (usually through a private message) so that they keep an eye open for them . Many members have more than one buddy. You exchange info.... i.e. phone numbers, address, hubby/or wife's name number or a signifigant other or family or friend. Without that info (via a buddy) sometimes we'd not know if you're ill. For instance..... one of my buddies is Wildoats (hope you don't mind my mentioning this Brian). If he goes missing for a bit, I go looking. If I can't find him in his usual places  , and if he's not answering my e mails.... I call his home. Another of my buddies I watch for is SueNY. And/or, his wife will call me if he's ill and unable to respond etc. I then transfer the info to the Board here. It helps if YOUR signifigant other knows who to contact ... as in they should be included in the loop and how it works) and, do them a favor and put your buddy's contact info on the fridge. I've NEVER heard of anyone being turned down.... So; please condider "Buddying Up!"Thank you, Admin Staff
