Even blokes can make this one Get a good sized square of aluminium foil (I know you call it something else I can't even pronounce) for each person and spray with cooking spray. Arrange in the centre .... Meat of your choice, not too thick (oysterblade steak or lamb cutlets are nice) and top with ... Vegetables of your choice (potatoes cut into slices, pumpkin, small onion, peas, carrots, sweetcorn, sweet potato ... whatever you like) Then sprinkle a sachet of Cup-a-Soup over the meat and veg. Bring opposite sides of the foil together and fold over a couple of times to seal the edge. Fold one end up to seal. Add a couple of tablespoons of water to the open end and seal it too. Pop packages on the rungs of the oven and cook at 180C for about an hour. Slide the package onto a plate, open it up and wallah! dinner time. If you don't cut the foil you don't even have to wash the plate. Is that lazy man's tucker or what!

Sounds easy enough Judy and I think I might even still have some of those foil roaster bags that I've never used.
One question..... what "kind" of Cup a soup; oh; and I guess one other question.... and when you say "sachet" are you saying one serving package?

Wasn't sure if you have Cup-a-Soup over there ... yes they are single serve sachets. I usually use cream of something or chicken noodle. The ones with lots of noodles and croutons would end up glug I'd imagine.

We used to make these when we went camping. We'd slice up the potatoe and leave it whole, slice onions and put a ring between each slit in the potato, and then wrap it all up in the foil and just throw it into the campfire. TAkes about a half hour to cook. Now at home I do what you do and lay out a square of foil. Then I'd throw on the slices of potatoes, slices of onions , and chunks of hamburg. Also throw in some cut up green or what ever color pepper and cherry tomatoes. Place a pat of butter on top of it all and sprinkle with salt and pepper and then seal. Cool in 400* oven for 45 minutes to an hour and then eat. Supercalifragilisticexpealidocious!!!!! What's nice is that each person can put what they want in their own packet. We don't put the soup in it as the veggies give it it's own flavor. My daughter makes them all the time at home in the morning and then pops them in the oven when she gets home from work. You know, I think we'll have them for dinner tonight!

I forgot about how easy it was to cook that way. I am still working and get very tired so I did that last night when I got home. Thanks
